Published by S. Abdul Majeed & Co., this 1988-dated postcard was posted from Malaysia to Stockton-on-Tees, England, bearing a 40¢ stamp depicting the Malayan wildcat (Felis marmorata). The printed caption reads: “Sunset – The northern coast of Penang with its fishing boats and swaying palm trees as seen at sunset.” Code 100.33. The reverse carries a handwritten message fondly noting the journey toward Singapore.
