From its elevated perch at 420 metres above sea level, S. Agata sui Due Golfi offers some of the most enchanting vistas in southern Italy. This postcard presents a three-part panoramic composition: a broad view of the village nestled among green hills, the sweep of the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius in the distance, and the serene expanse of the Gulf of Salerno. The bright, clear colours evoke the warmth and clarity of a Mediterranean day.

Published by Ediz. Ricci Gennaro and printed by PLURIGRAF (Terni), the postcard was mailed to England with two Italian stamps: Rocca di Calascio (50 Lire) and Castello Scaligero Sirmione (600 Lire). Standard size, approx. 5¾ x 4 in (about 14.6 x 10.2 cm). In decent vintage condition, showing only light handling.
